Bright Beginnings Teens Social Skills Camp
Confident communication. Real-world connection.
Designed for teens to build confidence, connection, and communication through shared experiences, skill-building, and support.
While many students develop important language, communication, and problem-solving skills in 1:1 therapy, social confidence often grows most when teens have the opportunity to practice those skills with peers in real time. This group was created for exactly that purpose.
Our camp offers an engaging mix of creative activities, social communication development, collaborative projects, and real-world skill-building adventures—all within a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Led by dedicated speech, language, and learning specialists, teens are encouraged to strengthen independence, self-expression, and social confidence while feeling supported every step of the way.
At the heart of the camp is a welcoming space where teens learn how to navigate social situations, work through challenges, and build meaningful peer connections. The program focuses on practical, everyday social communication skills, including starting and maintaining conversations, reading social cues, navigating misunderstandings, perspective-taking, self-advocacy, and building confidence in peer interactions.
Teens will have the opportunity to practice these skills in a small, supportive group setting with clinical guidance, feedback, and encouragement. We often see that this type of group experience helps teens feel less alone, more connected, and more confident using their communication skills outside the therapy room—in friendships, school, and daily life.
