Frequently Asked Questions

  • How quickly do we see results?

You can expect to see some changes in your student within the first 4-6 weeks, if the program is being followed as prescribed.

  • What are your clinicians’ qualifications?

All college graduates with degrees in communication disorders or related fields (psychology, child development, education, etc.) Most are pursuing graduate degrees in Communicative Disorders, or licensing in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

  • How much does it cost?

Our fees are tuition based and vary according to the number of hours recommended weekly and the estimated duration of the work based on a rate of $110/hour.

  • Why is it intensive, 2-3 sessions per week?

Trying to develop new neural pathways in the brain takes intense, frequent and consistent work. Imagine children going to a grass field to play baseball in the summer. They go to the field, lay down the base markers and play a game or two. If they only go once per week, what does the grass look like when they arrive for their weekly game? Probably the same as it did on their first day. But imagine if they played in the same field, every day, or even 3 times a week? The grass would be worn down and clear paths would be made from base, to base, to base, to home plate. The brain is the same way. To make change, you must be consistent.

  • Will this add to homework time?

Our programming is an additional commitment during your child’s week. While we do offer Saturday options, there is a good chance some of your visits will need to be during the work week. While this seems daunting, since homework usually takes forever, you will find that homework will begin to be less painful as the process continues and your child becomes more independent.

Should Ask Questions

  • What happens if we don’t fix these issues now?

Your child will continue to struggle in school and begin to doubt their abilities as a student. The longer this continues, the greater their self esteem is impacted. They begin to feel that they are not as smart as their classmates. Eventually stop trying and not wanting to go to school. Lose interest in homework, school and learning.

  • Do you have financing options for tuition?

We partner with Your Tuition Solution (YTS) which offers budget-friendly payment plans. Visit yts-learning.com for Bright Beginnings Pediatric Services to see your payment plan options.
