The Role
A Therapeutic Learning Coach (TLC) is so much more than a tutor. Our TLCs work one-on-one with students who have reading and other learning and attention challenges to radically change the way kids learn!
Bright Beginnings is part of a network of professionals who specialize in innovative programs that develop the underlying cognitive processing skills needed for easy and efficient learning. That means we don’t help with academic subjects like tutors; we help students build the foundational cognitive skills with therapies that allow them to excel in school on their own.
We will provide you with all the needed training to be successful, and help you gain competencies in areas that you didn’t learn in school. This is the perfect opportunity for someone in the fields of education, psychology, speech, and cognitive development.

Requirements:
Must be at least junior level or above in college to apply.
Eligible individuals must be available a combination of 3 days, including Thursdays (minimum 3-4 days total) for the duration of their employment. (Available hours: M-F from 2-7 pm and Sat 8-3).
We train all of our programs and techniques. Due to the extensive training provided we do expect an individual to make a minimum of a one-year commitment.
