Aloha! My name is Keala Naipo.
I am happy to be a part of the Bight Beginnings team as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
I graduated from Arizona State University with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Speech and Hearing Science and Family and Human Development. I knew Speech Therapy was the field for me because it allows me to fulfill my goals of normalizing different communication methods, working with newborns for pediatric feeding, and lifelong learning. I have worked with children from ages 1-15 years in an outpatient clinic and public school settings. I enjoy working on expressive and receptive language, executive functioning, fluency, and social communication. It is also very important to me to connect with the family and care team of my clients. As a mother, I know how important it is to be included and knowledgeable on the plan of care.
In my free time, I love taking my two little girls to Disneyland and traveling to different states and National Parks. I also enjoy practicing yoga, skiing in the winter, and spending quality time with friends and family.
